Push Gaming has entered US market through exclusive BetMGM launch in Michigan

UK-based B2B games supplier Push Gaming has officially made its debut in the US iGaming market, launching a selection of its top titles venture in Michigan through an exclusive partnership with BetMGM.

This marks Push Gaming’s first into the United States. The move follows its earlier North American expansion into Ontario, Canada, and reinforces the company’s ambition to grow its global footprint.

Players in Michigan can now enjoy popular Push Gaming releases. More exclusive games are on the way, all branded in collaboration with MGM Resorts International. Upcoming titles include:

  • MGM Grand Gamble
  • MGM Emerald Nights
  • Bellagio Diamonds, and several other.

These games will launch over the coming months, offering BetMGM players a premium, tailored experience.

Andy Bentley, Chief Operating Officer at Push Gaming, said: “We’re thrilled to go live in the US, and Michigan is the ideal starting point. It’s a dynamic and vital market. Launching exclusively with BetMGM, one of the top-tier operators in the region, is a proud moment for us. This launch isn’t just a milestone—it’s a strategic step. We aim to become a leading content provider in North America. With BetMGM’s support and our standout games, we’re set to build a loyal player base in the US.”

Oliver Bartlett, Vice President of Gaming Product & Content at BetMGM, also welcomed the launch: “Our content strategy focuses on working with world-class suppliers. Push Gaming fits that vision perfectly. We’re proud to be the first to bring their content to US players, especially in a key iGaming market like Michigan.”

Future of Dutch gambling reforms uncertain amid political turmoil

Gambling in Holland 2025 kicked off in Amsterdam yesterday. But while the event draws industry attention, the future of gambling regulation in the Netherlands looks increasingly uncertain.

Earlier this year, State Secretary for Legal Protection Teun Struycken announced plans to introduce a new gambling bill. The government had expected to present it to parliament in 2025. However, political upheaval has thrown those plans into doubt.

The Dutch coalition government – made up of VVD, PVV, BBB and NSC – collapsed this week. PVV leader Geert Wilders withdrew his support, effectively ending the fragile alliance. The coalition took over 200 days to form and lasted less than a year.

Prime Minister Dick Schoof may try to continue with a minority cabinet. But a snap general election, potentially in October 2025, now seems the more likely outcome.

People expected Struycken, an independent minister who remains in post, to propose significant gambling reforms. These included raising the minimum age for online slots and introducing stricter advertising rules.

The urgency of reform followed a government review of the Remote Gambling Act. The report found existing player protection measures were lacking. Key concerns included:

  • Inadequate use of addiction prevention officers
  • Poor implementation of spending limits
  • Excessive reliance on gambling operators to enforce player safety

The Remote Gambling Act came into effect in October 2021. It legalised and regulated online gambling in the Netherlands for the first time.

The direction of gambling policy now depends on the outcome of the next Dutch general election. Both Prime Minister Schoof and Geert Wilders intend to stand.

Another centre-right coalition is possible if parties like PVV, VVD, NSC and BBB maintain their vote share. However, a centre-left government led by GroenLinks and Democrats 66 is also a potential outcome.

Until a new government is formed, the future of gambling reform in the Netherlands remains on hold.
