Play’n GO has launched its top games with Ivy Casino in the UK
Leading games provider Play’n GO has expanded its UK presence. Its full suite of popular titles went live with Ivy Casino on 19 December.

As a result, UK players at Ivy Casino now have instant access to global hits. This launch represents a key partnership for both companies. Play’n GO is a long-established leader in the regulated UK market. Similarly, Ivy Casino is a premium brand launched in 2024, dedicated specifically to UK players. The brand operates alongside sister sites Rose Casino and O’Reels, with all three committed to high-quality entertainment and high player protection.
Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer at Play’n GO, said: “We are delighted to launch with Ivy Casino. This partnership, built on a shared commitment to regulated markets, is just the beginning.”
Mark Good for Ivy Casino added: “Working with Play’n GO is a strategic move. It directly enhances our premium content offering for UK players with engaging, top-tier games.”
Furthermore, Play’n GO attracts audiences beyond iGaming. The company is also a sponsor of the MoneyGram Haas Formula 1 Team. Additionally, it operates the Play’n GO Shop fashion brand and Play’n GO Music.
Peter & Sons has secured a European content deal with Interwetten
Peter & Sons has announced a new content agreement with Interwetten. Consequently, the operator will now distribute the studio’s slot portfolio to its players. Initially, the launch will focus on several core regulated markets, namely Germany, Spain, Greece, and Sweden. Further European jurisdictions are set to follow.
Interwetten will integrate a selection of Peter & Sons’ popular games. The partnership is a clear alignment of strengths, connecting the studio’s unique, high-quality content with the operator’s extensive reach.
Since its founding in 2019, Peter & Sons has secured licences in over 15 global markets. The studio effectively scales its distribution through major aggregation platforms, making this deal a natural step in its expansion.
Both companies highlighted the strategic value of the alliance. Yann Bautista, Commercial Director and Founder of Peter & Sons, noted: “Interwetten is a true iGaming pioneer. Therefore, their strong reputation and presence make them an ideal partner for our growth.”
Echoing this sentiment, Mario Bilic, Director of Products at Interwetten, stated: “We have long admired Peter & Sons’ distinctive and original work. Ultimately, their approach to game design perfectly complements our casino strategy.”
Romania has enacted stricter laws to crack down on illegal gambling
Romanian lawmakers have enacted stricter gambling regulations. The changes aim to close legal loopholes and shield the licensed market from unlicensed activity.
The reforms centre on Class II B2B licence holders. Namely, this includes software developers, payment processors, and platform services.
Under Law 239/2025, these suppliers face a new, clearer test. They are now prohibited from servicing unlicensed B2C operators only if all three of these conditions are met:
- The site offers content in Romanian.
- It accepts deposits in RON, other currencies, or cryptoassets.
- It provides access to Romanian players without a valid ONJN Class I licence.
This replaces a previous vague rule. The old rule could penalise suppliers even if their services weren’t directly targeting Romanian users.
Licensed suppliers now have more responsibilities. They must block Romanian player access if detected on unlicensed partner platforms. Also, they must also immediately notify the operator to fix the issue.
Breaking these rules is now a criminal offence. Penalties include:
- Six months to two years in prison.
- Heavy fines.
- Possible licence revocation or company dissolution.
The government has also expanded its watch. Regulators now directly oversee payment processors, software hosts, and platform providers. These entities must also block access and report non-compliant partners.
Earlier, Romania implemented a ban on gambling activities in rural areas.
