Pragmatic Play has strengthened its presence in the Spanish market through a new partnership with KirolBet.

Under the agreement, KirolBet will integrate Pragmatic Play’s slot games into its online casino platform, offering its users access to a diverse selection of slots and live casino games from the renowned provider.
Irina Cornides, COO of Pragmatic Play, highlighted the significance of the collaboration, noting that Pragmatic Play’s content has already been well-received in Spain. This partnership is expected to expand their product offering in this important regulated market.
Joel Lopez Martin, Director of Grupo Kirol Online, highlighted the incorporation of Pragmatic Play’s portfolio, emphasising how it will enhance KirolBet’s offerings and meet the evolving preferences of their customers, ultimately improving the overall player experience.
Earlier this month, Pragmatic Play also deepened its collaboration with Betsson Group’s Rizk brand by introducing custom live casino environments through its Smart Studio product. Also, the company launched its gaming products with NetBet in Denmark and partnered with Bplay as part of its strategic expansion efforts in Brazil.
Meanwhile, Thailand’s Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has suggested that legalising gambling could help address the persistent issue of illegal gambling in the country.
According to reports from Thai media, the Prime Minister made these remarks in an interview, highlighting that illegal gambling operations, which have long been prevalent in Thailand, generate trillions of baht in revenue but do not contribute to the nation’s treasury.
He underlined the potential benefits of legalisation, particularly the opportunity to increase tax revenues from these businesses.
However, he acknowledged that legalising casinos and the broader gambling industry would necessitate adjustments to existing laws by relevant agencies.
