Accredited by UK Accreditation Service (UKAS), the Safer Gambling Standard stands as an independent quality standard intended to evaluate the protective measures implemented by licensed gambling operators to mitigate gambling-related harm. It requires operators to furnish real-time updates on regulatory inquiries. The standard underwent its last revision in 2021.

Commenting on the initiative, GamCare highlighted its unwavering dedication to providing high-quality, easily accessible assistance to the multitude of individuals seeking recourse through its services annually. This includes aid for those grappling directly with gambling issues as well as those impacted by the gambling behaviours of others.
