BGaming has expanded into five key markets with Entain collaboration
BGaming has officially teamed up with the industry giant Entain to expand its global presence. This partnership brings BGaming’s diverse portfolio to major regulated markets, including Brazil, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Portugal. Consequently, players can now access popular titles from the studio’s #Casual, #Entertainment, and #Classic ranges.
This move firmly establishes BGaming as a premier provider for top-tier operators. Furthermore, the deal allows the studio to reach a vast audience through Entain’s famous brands like bwin and Party Casino. Since Entain operates exclusively in regulated regions, this collaboration ensures a secure, high-quality experience for all users.
Olga Levshina, CCO at BGaming, described the deal as a key milestone for the company. She noted that Entain’s massive reach will give their games the attention they deserve. Similarly, Obdulio Bacarese from Entain praised BGaming as an innovative partner. He confirmed that adding such creative content will significantly strengthen their offering across key global markets.

Sweden has tightened Spelpaus rules
The Swedish Gambling Authority, Spelinspektionen, has tightened the technical rules for connecting to Spelpaus, the national self-exclusion register. Although decided in April, these mandatory updates officially take effect on 1 August 2026.
Operators must now follow a standardised connection process. Firstly, each licence holder must use a unique Actor ID and API Key for all queries. Secondly, the system now requires two separate channels: a Marketing API for promotional screening and a Login API for registrations and sign-ins.
Operator must verify a player’s status during every login attempt and before sending any marketing materials. A check is only valid once it confirms the individual’s exclusion status definitively.
Crucially, legal responsibility remains entirely with the licence holder. Even if an operator delegates technical tasks to a third party, that operator must ensure the service provider uses the correct, specific credentials. While the broad framework is ready, Spelinspektionen has not yet released the final API specifications or performance standards for the operator to implement.
Since 2019, Spelpaus has allowed players to block themselves for periods ranging from one month to over a year. Despite recent media scrutiny regarding data security, the regulator insists the system is secure. They confirm that all data remains encrypted and the register does not store personal medical details. Consequently, operators must prepare their systems now to meet the high security and integration standards required by the 2026 deadline.
