Swintt has announced a partnership with Superbet. As part of this agreement, Swintt will make its entire array of games accessible to Superbet’s global customer base.
Lars Kollind, Swintt’s Head of Business Development, highlighted the benefits this deal brings. “Through this partnership, Superbet clients will enjoy access to our impressive lineup of SwinttPremium and SwinttSelect slots, along with anticipated releases.”
Earlier, Swintt partnered with Bet-At-Home in Germany, and with Circus.be in Belgium.
Meanwhile, Australia has recently passed legislation banning the use of digital currency and credit cards for online gambling, aimed at safeguarding citizens from potential financial risks.
According to reports, the ban includes cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and traditional credit cards. Companies failing to comply could be fined up to around 234,750 Australian dollars ($155,000).
This regulatory framework aims to bring online betting practices in line with Australia’s existing laws governing land-based gambling. However, there are exceptions, such as online lottery transactions, which continue to allow the use of credit cards.
Kai Cantwell, chief executive of Responsible Wagering Australia, praised the move as a means to enhance customer protection and raise responsible gambling behaviours: “This measure is crucial in safeguarding consumers, facilitating better self-regulation in gambling habits.”
Cantwell additionally called for extending the ban to cover all forms of gambling uniformly. He argued that without consistent protective measures across the board, consumers might migrate towards less regulated gambling avenues, heightening their vulnerability to potential harm.
