Eurobet, known for its diverse gaming offerings, now expands its selection with the addition of Peter & Sons’ titles. This partnership aligns with Peter & Sons’ strategic goal to grow its footprint in regulated markets across Europe.

Earlier, Peter & Sons strengthened its global presence by teaming up with Light & Wonder. This partnership enables the company to offer its games worldwide through Light & Wonder’s aggregation platform.

The company is also working with operators like Rootz and Relax Gaming, which helps distribute its games in key markets such as the UK, Malta, and Canada. Moreover, an extended agreement with EveryMatrix ensures Peter & Sons’ games reach even more players through the CasinoEngine platform.

Meanwhile, the French gambling regulator, Autorité Nationale des Jeux (ANJ), has launched a new campaign called “100% Winner?” to tackle the issue of unlicensed online gambling. This initiative focuses on raising public awareness about illegal online casinos, a gambling vertical that is unregulated in France.

Unlike legal online options such as sports betting, poker, and horse racing betting, online casinos are banned in the country. The ANJ’s campaign, part of its 2024-2026 strategic plan, aims to educate people about the risks that illegal gambling carries, including addiction, financial hardship, and the potential for family issues.

To spread the message, the ANJ will run ads across popular websites, apps, and social media platforms like Snapchat, Twitch, and TikTok. These ads will direct users to a dedicated website that explains why online casinos are prohibited and how to recognise illegal gambling sites.

ANJ president, Isabelle Falque-Pierrotin, highlighted that between 5% and 11% of France’s gambling market consists of illegal offerings, which often lead to addiction and financial trouble. She also stressed that unlicensed gambling supports international criminal networks, further motivating the regulator’s crackdown on these sites.

Since March 2022, the ANJ has issued 506 orders against illegal gambling operators and blocked over 2,300 URLs. However, these efforts are complicated by the rapid emergence of mirror sites. To combat this, the ANJ is working closely with payment providers and search engines to strengthen enforcement and limit the reach of illegal gambling.
